Just finished reading Janice Dickinsons book ‘No lifegaurd on duty’. Before I read this I had a vague idea of Janice Dickinson in the sense that I knew she was a supermodel in the 70’s/80’s “The world’s first supermodel” in fact. After reading the book I learnt so much about her life and the kind of way that she lived that I have absolutely fallen in love with her. From seeing her on America’s next top model and the random TV appereances she made in the past couple of years I never really appreciated her look or the reason why she acts so loud and obnoxiously (sometimes). I don’t want to say too much or I’ll ruin the book…although it is history and fact so there isn’t really much I can say that hasn’t already been said.
It’s a very good book I recommend it. I am now adding Janice Dickson to my collection of super hero women. Inspirational women that never let their situation overpower their messege/beliefs/passion/goals. It might sound a bit weird and it’s not like a live my life any differently or anything I just find these women inspirational and I think its important to always have inspiration.
As Paul smith said “You can find inspiration in everything and if you can’t, look again.”
